Mylène Farmer and Laurent Boutonnat, no doubt they are genius. Their somewhat electronic and somewhat dance songs are like incantation ... cast a spell on you long before you realize anything.

But, sometimes, she is really terrible. By that I’m not saying her music sucks or she is ugly. Sometimes, she is just ... odd. I watched the video of Dégénération (youtube: 1 or 2) this afternoon, and then I asked myself: Is she an alien or something? Because I don’t think she is human or normal at all.

It’s too bad that Alizée ran away from Mylène. I believe they could create more hits working together. However, if Alizée not have left Mylène, she would not be Alizée but Mylène’s Alizée instead.
